Meet the leis in this beautiful Lei Day Print!

Puakenikeni (peach) :
When we think of the Puakenikeni lei, we think of its sweet, vibrant fragrance.  Did you know Puakenikeni translates to "ten cent flower"?  It has the name because that was the value of these lei in the early 1900s!

Tuberose (pink) :
The tuberose flower traveled across land and sea from Mexico to our islands because of it gorgeous scent and beauty.  Here in Hawai'i, the Hawaiian name of this popular flower is Kupaloke.

Pikake (outlined in pink/purple) :
These tiny, ball-like white flowers were brought to the Hawaiian Islands in the 1800s, and these sweet-smelling pua were a favorite of Hawaiian Princess Ka'iulani.  She even named the flower "pikake", which translates to "peacock", after the peacocks who roamed her Waikiki gardens!

Pakalana (yellow green) :
Good news...it's April which means the Pakalana Lei is officially in season!  This yellow-green, citrusy-smelling flower is a favorite in Hawai'i, and is only available during its season of April - September.

Care: In order to maintain the quality of this fabric and prevent pilling and/or snagging, separate from other materials such as towels and hardware, like zippers or velcro, during the wash and dry process.  Machine was cold (without bleach), tumble dry on low heat.  Also recommend washing inside out to preserve the print.
